Eric Greenspan helms the kitchen atop the new Hotel Wilshire, a newly opened 74-room boutique hotel in the Miracle Mile. Pie Eating
Sept. 18. Fruit, nut, cream, savory and Tim Burton-inspired? Definately gotta check this place out while taking a tour of LA. Those are the judging categories at this year’s KCRW Good Food Pie Contest. ANDY WARHOL’S CAMPBELL’S SOUP CANS
Through Sept. 19. Pop artist Andy Warhol’s paintings of Campbell’s soup cans are probably his most iconic pieces. He’s a famous man with great ambitions, only while touring Los Angeles, do you see this this barrage of uniqueness. An installation of his 32 soup-can paintings opens at Museum of Contemporary Art downtown on the 49th anniversary of the original exhibition at Ferus Gallery in L.A.,Warhol’s first solo show.
