Love books? Love to read? Love to eat, walk around, observe and meet literate people? If any of this is true then you want to get over to Pasadena’s Central Park (in the shadow of Castle Green) on Saturday, May 12th. Panels are scheduled throughout the day with successful writers from around the area so you can hear their real voices and ask questions about their books and techniques, styles and work habits. Fancy food and drink will be available throughout the day long affair (9:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.).
And after the festival there is Old Town Pasadena just a block away with its restaurants, bars, clubs and shops. If you are visiting Los Angeles and taking a private tour of Hollywood, Beverly Hills and the movie studios, then have your tour specialist drop you off at LitFest to really take in the local flavors of Los Angeles.
Pasadena wants this to be the first of a long-lived annual festival of local authors, books and cuisine. Come on by and see for yourself. Make history. Buy a book.
