West Hollywood’s Colorful Pacific Design Center
Colorful Pacific Design Center Seen Best from Helicopter Tour
Our private Los Angeles tour guests cannot help but stare when we drive them past the Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood. Three eye-catching glass buildings designed by César Pelli. Blue, green and red glass. Interconnected. But to really see them, the best view is aboard one of our helicopter adventure tours where our guests are treated to a the sight of the three extraordinary buildings beside one another like 3D puzzle pieces strewn into the orderliness of West Hollywood. Walking through the buildings is equally enjoyable, seeing the latest in interior design elements and concepts, furniture and appliances. We think of it more as a museum of colors, surfaces and house features than as a wholesale store for designers and builders. The fact that the Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) has an outpost on the 14 acre grounds seems perfectly fitting. We like to drop in about lunch time to eat at one of Wolfgang Puck‘s two restaurants (Spectra and red|seven).
