Munchkin Leaves Hand and Footprints at Chinese Theatre

Former munchkin Jerry Maren makes prints at Chinese Theatre

A Huge Treat for our Private Los Angeles Tour Guests

It was a big day for little guy Jerry Maren, once a Lollipop Kid in Munchkin Land, as he was honored at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood the other day.  Sure, he sacrificed a nice pair of cordovan dress shoes to the wet cement, but it was worth it, judging from his grand smile, to be honored among the greatest film actors of all time for his contribution to not only the Wizard of Oz but a lifetime of movies and television.  It is hard to put an exact number on the ceremony much less the stars honored but since the theater was under construction in 1927 there have been at least 200 ceremonies leaving more than 250 celebrities with cement encrusted shoes.  Jerry belongs with them.  His shoes prove it.  Our private luxury tour guests had already seen the giant mansions of Beverly Hills and Bel Air but we made sure they had a chance to witness the little ceremony at the famous Grauman’s Chinese Theater.
