Volunteer to Decorate a Rose Parade Float
Something Special To Do When Visiting Los Angeles
The Tournament of Roses Parade in Pasadena is only 11 days away and the floats have to be completed Just In Time so that the flowers look and smell their best on parade day. New Years Day. January 1st. Locals and visitors alike have an opportunity to help decorate these beautiful rolling mechanisms. In fact, without volunteers this would not happen. The City of Hope is inviting those interested to join them in the Rosemont Pavilion next to the Rose Bowl Stadium for one (or more) of several upcoming decorating shifts:
- Thursday, Dec. 26th, 8 a.m.-4 p.m. & 4 p.m.-9 p.m.
- Friday-Monday, Dec. 27th-30th, 8 a.m.-4 p.m. & 4 p.m.-11 p.m.
Imagine knowing your work will be seen by millions of people around the world when the Tournament of Roses Parade is broadcast. For our private Los Angeles tour guests, this is a great fun, family activity before New Years where you can meet people from Los Angeles and participate in an enduring and worthwhile tradition. There is more to do when visiting Los Angeles than sightseeing in Hollywood and Beverly Hills.
