Celebrate Cinco de Mayo on Your Los Angeles Tour
Plan a Meal at El Cholo After Your Los Angeles Tour
In 1925, two years after the first restaurant was opened near downtown Los Angeles, a name change gave birth to El Cholo, now a celebrated Mexican food restaurant with three restaurants in the immediate Los Angeles area and three others not very far away. For our private Los Angeles tour guests who may have missed the Cinco de Mayo celebrations and parades over the weekend there is still time to drink a tequila toast to the brave Mexican soldiers and citizens who on May 5, 1862 defeated a much larger and better equipped French army at the Battle of Puebla. Music, dancing, song and poetry along with parades, colorful costumes and speeches eventually lead everyone to a fine meal. There is no better place to receive that fine meal than one of the superb El Cholo restaurants in Los Angeles.
