Remember the Iowa on Memorial Day

USS Iowa moored in San Pedro, CA

Have Your Los Angeles Tour Visit the USS Iowa Museum

Last year was the first Memorial Day for the U.S.S. Iowa in its new home in San Pedro, CA just south of Los Angeles.  The celebration was a huge success and promises to be even better this year.  Music, food, history and attractions and a loving tribute to all the men and women who served and are serving in the armed forces.  Our private Los Angeles tours visit this port of Los Angeles regularly, sometimes meeting our guests at the nearby cruise ship terminal, and sometimes just driving down from Los Angeles along the Palos Verdes peninsula to marvel at the exquisite southern California coastline before arriving at the largest port area in the United States.  The busy port now is graced by this exemplary naval vessel that plied the seas for the U.S. Navy for 48 years while seeing action in WWII and Korea.  The marvelous Navy museum is perfect for these festivities.  Be a part of this wonderful celebration and head to San Pedro between 8:00 a.m. (0800) and 3:00 p.m. (1500) this Memorial Day.  Bring someone to kiss.

World War II ended with a kiss you can see at the U.S.S. Iowa
