Hollywood Palladium Plays the Hits
Our Private Tour Group Appreciates the Music History of the Hollywood Palladium
From movie studio (Paramount, once) to famous music and dance venue, the Hollywood Palladium on Sunset Boulevard continues to host musical entertainment for large crowds. The Streamline-Moderne auditorium and nightclub was constructed in 1940 on the location once occupied by Famous Players which would later become Paramount Pictures. The intimate interior can hold up to 4,000 people, a good-sized concert venue located right in the heart of Hollywood. Sunset-Gower Studios and Gower Gulch are across the street, Roscoe’s House of Chicken and Waffles around the corner and the Cinerama Dome just down Sunset Boulevard. For live music concerts with crowds somewhere between the size of rock ‘n roll clubs on the Sunset Strip and the really big concerts at the Hollywood Bowl and Staples Center, the Palladium is a Hollywood gem worth visiting.
