Lions, Tigers and Bears, Oh My!
Our Los Angeles Tour Guests are Always Safe
Our readers here at the Elite Adventure Tours blogsite as well as our private Los Angeles tour guests understand that Los Angeles is situated in a basin surrounded by forested mountains. There are pathways known only to the animal kingdom connecting the mountains and forests with the Hollywood Hills and Griffith Park (one of the largest urban parks in the country). In Hollywood as we travel up to see the Hollywood Sign or visit the stars’ homes in the hills we might occasionally catch a glimpse of a coyote, raccoon, skunk or deer. Mountain lion? Never. Black bear? Never. Rattlesnake? Never. Are these wild animals around? Perhaps. Most stay far from human feet and hide during the day. If we are in the hills very early in the morning or at dusk we might cross paths with the smaller beasts. If our guests really want to see creatures, besides the Los Angeles Zoo and the Aquarium of the Pacific (in Long Beach), we suggest a yacht tour to see the wild dolphins, porpoises, seals and sea lions and at this time of year, the whales. Now, a wild pack of paparazzi, that we might see at any time!
