G.O.A.T. Was Here in Hollywood
Our Private Tour Guests Touched by Muhammad Ali Tributes
The timing was not exactly right that we could bring our Los Angeles private tour guests to the Hollywood Walk of Fame at the time the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce presented a memorial wreath at the wall-mounted star of Muhammad Ali. The Greatest of All Time (G.O.A.T.) had passed away the day before and as has been a Hollywood tradition since the gilded stars first appeared on the sidewalk of Hollywood in 1965 a commemorative wreath would be placed in tribute to the celebrity. It is a marvelous and touching tradition. The public can be counted on to bring other tributes and memorabilia themselves. Candles, flowers, photos, souvenirs, all sorts of things, accumulate around the sidewalk stars when popular celebrities pass away. For really big stars like Muhammad Ali, film crews arrive to get video and interview bystanders. Ali, not just a world famous sports figure, was also a great humanitarian known for his smile and sense and humor as much as his powerful punches and perspective on human rights.
