Bouchon Bakery Opens in Beverly Hills
Experience a slice of Parisian lifestyle in the heart of Beverly Hills at Bouchon Bakery. Serving as a mouthwatering entrance to Thomas Keller’s famed Bouchon bistro, the bakery is home to an extensive bread program, a full-range vennoiserie, pastries, packaged specialty goods—think homemade granola and chocolate bouchon cookies—tarts, breakfast quiches and coffees and teas. Pastry chef Roy Shvartzapel oversees the sweets, including his signature pastry: Kouign-amann, a delicacy from Brittany that marries dough, sugar and butter into a heavenly combination. Yet another tasty place to head over to while you tour LA. The Adam Tihany-designed shop, set in the Beverly Hills Garden Building, opens into a garden plaza complete with outdoor seating. Chef de cuisine Rory Herrmann manages the savory side.
