Joan’s on Third – a Meal, a Picnic, an Event

Photo of Joan's on Third, restaurant and cateringJoan’s on Third in Los Angeles (near the Beverly Center) is one of those fine restaurants that draws us over before, between and after our private luxury tours of Hollywood and Beverly Hills.  The marketplace is located near the elegant hotels (Sofitel, SLS, Orlando) where many of our guests are staying.  Breakfast before a tour puts us in a very good mood for our guests or an early dinner after a tour gives us the energy and attitude to get back to the garage safely.  And then there is the occasional lunch with our guests who have begun early and want to keep going but wish to stop for a suitable bite to eat to complement the tour of Los Angeles they are enjoying.

This beautiful family business (Joan and her daughters Carol and Susie) presents wonderful soup, salad, sandwich and dessert choices that you can enjoy seated in their comfortable urban setting and watch the people passing by.  Or, you can order and take out your meal quickly and easily, served with the gracious hospitality that exemplifies the family’s philosophy.

We must not forget what brought us to Joan’s on Third initially — the catering, specifically picnic lunches.  We provide numerous custom tours during the year (generally involving helicopter flights to Malibu and other notable out-of-the-way locations as well as to the Grand Canyon) where we bring along for our guests gourmet picnic lunches selected especially for them.  Joan’s on Third not only puts together a great meal but we completely rely on their professional service to be sure everything is correct and on time.  We need them to impress our guests and they always do!

We heartily recommend this wonderful Los Angeles business.  Eat there, take a meal with you or have them create for you a picnic to share with your family and friends.
