Los Angeles Has Many Siblings

Photo of Los Angeles Sister Cities marker

According to this signpost at the intersection of First and Main Streets in downtown Los Angeles, there are 25 Sister Cities for our City of Angels.  What a great trivia question.  And, for extra credit — name them.  Extra extra credit —indicate on which continent they are.  According to the LA Sister Cities website it was President Eisenhower in 1956 who created the Sister Cities program to foster trade and goodwill across nations.  Not a bad idea.  This is just one of the many notable landmarks that we show our private luxury tour guests interested in seeing downtown Los Angeles.
