Fireboat No. 2 in San Pedro

Photo of a Los Angeles Fire Department Fireboat

It looks like a vista point overlooking the busy (busiest in the U.S.) Port of Los Angeles but it is really the widely windowed Los Angeles Fire Department Station No. 112 wherein is berthed the magnificent Fireboat #2 (the Warner L. Lawrence).  You would not believe, or even understand, the specifications of this nautical wonder but you must admit it is certainly an amazing vessel.  Located along the waterway servicing the cruise ship terminal and U.S.S. Iowa as well as the Los Angeles Maritime Museum and Ports o’ Call Village, we often bring our private luxury tour guests who express interest in the Los Angeles ports, harbors and shoreline down to Long Beach and San Pedro to show off the great seagoing capacities and history of Los Angeles.  There is much sightseeing and many things to do on our private coastal tours.

Hello, Do you give school tours of Fireboat #2? I saw this on Huell Howser and am very interested in a tour.
