The Wiltern Theater for Concerts
Every great city has its great music venues and the Wiltern Theater in mid-town Los Angeles is one of those great venues. Located on the corner of Wilshire Boulevard and Western Avenue this auditorium seats from 1800 – 2300 concertgoers depending on the chosen seating configuration. Smaller than the Staples Center but larger than the El Rey this is a fine place to listen to modern music as bands visit Los Angeles. For you architecture lovers, the theater was built in 1931 in the art deco style of the time and fronting the main street of Los Angeles (Wilshire Boulevard) was part of a look and style that was dominating the great boulevard at the time. As we drive by with our guests on a private luxury tour of Los Angeles heading from a downtown hotel to Hollywood and Beverly Hills we check out the marquee on the theater to see who is going to be playing in the near future. Operated by Live Nation you can be certain that a wide variety of musical artists will play the great stage.
