Marilyn Monroe Relives Her Handprints in Hollywood
This was such a fun and special private Hollywood tour with travel writer Brooke Saward recently visiting Los Angeles from Australia. We found this special exhibit in front of the Hollywood Red Line station (our subway system). On the left is Marilyn Monroe sculpted as she was photographed during her handprint ceremony in front of Grauman’s Chinese Theater back on June 26, 1953 while her movie Gentlemen Prefer Blondes was entertaining audiences everywhere. Brooke is looking very Hollywood and worthy of her own handprint as she sits in for Jane Russell as we took the photograph, something we do for all our guests on all our tours. Professional tour guides and photographers — that’s us!
