Remember to See Remembrance at Theatre 40 in Beverly Hills
Remembrance of Things Past in Beverly Hills
Our tour guides, all with theater backgrounds, constantly remind our private Los Angeles tour guests that Los Angeles supports an incredible amount of excellent live theater. One of those theaters high on our list of recommendations is Theatre 40 in Beverly Hills. For 46 years they have been mounting remarkable productions of award winning theater. Drawing from all the talent available in and around Hollywood the company produces plays such that theatergoers know they will enjoy a fine performance every time they attend.
Beginning March 21st and running for a month is Graham Reid‘s 1984 examination of love, family and an interminable war set in Northern Ireland, Remembrance. This finely wrought drama revolves around the improbable romance of two older mourners from each side of “the troubles” and the effect their affection for one another has on their adult children. Having just celebrated St. Patrick’s Day this is a fine way to remember the difficulties of more contemporary Irish life.
