Still Photogenic on Our Private Los Angeles Tour

The first stage of major renovations of the Wilshire Boulevard Temple is complete and the $150 Million facelift has the building looking more like a Hollywood ingenue than a fading star.  The interior is once again breathtaking with the famous Warner murals fully restored, the chandeliers repaired and polished and the stained glass windows once again perfectly clear.  Now the pews beckon for admiring bottoms in plenty of time for this year’s high holy days.

The Jewish population of Los Angeles dates back to 1851.  Two temples preceded the 1929 Wilshire Boulevard Temple (one of them at the corner of Temple and Broadway, downtown).  With the financial backing of Irving Thalberg and the Warner brothers this imposing edifice became the lasting home of the Los Angeles B’nai Brith congregation.  So distinctive in architecture and design and with such an impressive history the building was listed in the National Register of Historic Places in 1984.  Be sure to allow us to take you to see this magnificent structure on your private luxury tour through downtown Los Angeles, Hollywood and Beverly Hills.
