Our Private Tour on a Star Search
No matter who is with us on a private tour of Los Angeles, no matter how far they have traveled to get here, if they arrived on a private jet or drove to the city, or even their generation and experience, it seems that our most common request is that they want to see a movie star and where can we go to make that happen. Ah, the world remains starstruck and Hollywood is their Mecca, their Shangri-la. After all our years in business there are, in fact, ways we can increase the chances of crossing paths with a celebrity. Say, Samuel L. Jackson, right? Just walking alone down Hollywood Boulevard and heading to the Hard Rock Café. Fooled you, didn’t we? That’s just a celebrity lookalike (striking resemblance) plying his trade on the Walk of Fame and being available for visitors to stop and take their picture with him. There are many such actors along this strip of roadway. Now if that doesn’t count, and we agree it doesn’t count even though you can fool a lot of friends and family back home with pictures of these folks, we do know restaurants and stores to go to, hotel lobbies, automobile dealerships, and even parks and neighborhoods where there is a good chance a familiar face will be out and about doing their business, strolling, watering the lawn, eating lunch, or simply buying a Bugatti. The advantage of a custom tour is that we can take you where the stars might be out.
Our Private Tour Stops for Lunch with Al Pacino
Why wouldn’t Al Pacino want to eat lunch at the wonderful Nate & Al delicatessen when he’s in town? And why wouldn’t we bring our Los Angeles private tour guests here for a big sandwich and specialty soda when we are in Beverly Hills at lunchtime? Our crew eats here all the time so we are quite familiar with the corned beef on fresh baked rye bread and all the appropriate condiments to be found in an authentic deli. We also know from experience that movie stars and other celebrities regularly drop in for meals. Larry King is a regular. We have seen them all from old timers who must really know their deli foods to younger stars just beginning to get the hang of pastrami and matzo ball soup. Los Angeles is almost rich with great delis. Many of them have real Hollywood history like Langer’s and Label’s Table. Jerry’s Deli is making history these days. What our tour guests learn is that you don’t have to go to the northeast U.S. to find excellent delis and that we here in Los Angeles can enjoy lox and bagels and good kugel whenever the urge strikes.

Our Private Tour
“Celebrity Sightings” is a game we often play on any private Los Angeles tour that we do. After all, we often have aboard our luxury SUV starstruck families visiting Hollywood and Beverly Hills for the very first time and their eyes are peeled to the sidewalks and restaurant patio tables as we drive along, all of them looking to see a famous person. Do the actors along Hollywood Boulevard who work so hard to create a fine impersonation of a favorite movie or television star count as a “celebrity sighting”? Sometimes… we don’t always “pop” our guests’ bubbles when they see Johnny Depp and Zack Galifianakis standing together in front of the Grauman’s Chinese Theater box office. These “stars” change throughout the year depending on which stars (and characters) capture the most attention and draw the most photograph seeking tourists to tip them. Expect to see the Avengers along the boulevard later this year (Ironman, Thor, Captain America, Hawkeye, Hulk, Black Widow).
Our Private Tour Guests See a Hollywood Celebrity as Their Journey in Los Angeles Begins
Naturally, we pass California’s former governor and action film star, Arnold Schwarzenegger, driving along Sunset Boulevard through Beverly Hills. We often see familiar faces behind the wheels of very nice automobiles in and around Hollywood as well as the tony residential neighborhoods where they and their friends live. Brentwood, Pacific Palisades, Malibu, Bel Air, Beverly Hills and the Hollywood Hills – all the neighborhoods where our custom luxury van discretely travels to visit the beautiful homes of the beautiful people. Photographs like this one go right into our guests’ tour photo album to be a part of the wonderful memories collected on their private Los Angeles tour.
For This Private Los Angeles Tour She Signs Her New Book
Award winning actress Gwyneth Paltrow will appear at the Barnes & Noble Bookstore at The Grove today at 6:00 p.m. to sign her latest book, It’s All Good: Delicious, Easy Recipes that Will Make You Look Good and Feel Great. This fabulous bookstore located in the center of The Grove, a magnificent and exciting outdoor mall near Hollywood and Beverly Hills, often hosts film and television celebrities when they have written books. Other celebrities recently seen there include Valerie Harper and Carly Rae Jepson. We often schedule our private Hollywood tour schedules to accommodate our guests who wish to stop by these celebrity public events. After driving through neighborhoods with celebrity homes it is especially rewarding for them to see a star in person. And this way they can also buy a book of healthy recipes.
