Beautiful View of California Coastline

Blue ocean and green coastline after the rain comes in California

Guests Love Their Helicopter Tour of the California Coast

The heavy El Niño winter storm that passed through the southland stirred up the sand along the beaches which gives the shoreline waters a murky look when seen from above.  The views of the California coastline are incredible in the clear cool air of our winter months and just spectacular when the rain clouds are gone.  The “green” season is upon us and Southern California celebrates the green grasses on the hills and mountains.  Our private Los Angeles tour, aerial in one of our luxury helicopters (above), can journey down to San Diego, up to Santa Barbara or over to Catalina Island to really show off a coast line that is both rugged and well settled, bordered by craggy mountains and gentle sloping hills and in places nearby grand deserts.  What makes a helicopter tour special is that we can slow down and hover above anything special that we encounter along the way.  That is why we get such extraordinary photographs for our guests’ tour photo albums.

A Bridge Not So Far from Los Angeles

Looking north on Route 1 in Big Sur at the Bixby Bridge

Our Private Tour Up the California Coast to Big Sur

We do specialize in tours of Los Angeles and Southern California but we have no restrictions to travel anywhere in the state.  Many of our private Los Angeles tour guests decide they wish to drive up Highway 1 to see our magnificent coastline.  We admit that the views are extraordinary just heading up as far as Santa Barbara.  However, for a real California experience we think it is worth a lengthy contemplative drive at least to MontereySan Francisco is a very special stop for the evening.  On the way up there are views such as this one of the Bixby Bridge not far south of Carmel in Big Sur.  This well photographed landmark has carried motorists since 1932 and has the distinction of being one of the tallest single-span concrete bridges in the world (280 ft).  The highway is quite busy during the summer months so we prefer to drive the coast during this time of the year or just before summer starts.  Fine weather is usual at these times.  We capture a memory card’s worth of incredible photographs for our guests and their tour albums.  We can make stops at Hearst Castle to see the historic estate or along Año Nuevo beach to watch the elephant seals.  California makes a big impression on visitors and residents alike who do not get to witness these sights regularly.  It is truly breathtaking.

Cruise Ship Guests Cruise the Coastline

The beautiful California coast near Los Angeles

Some Los Angeles Tours Begin at the Cruise Ship Terminal

We serve guests arriving in the port on cruise ships throughout the year.  Sometimes Los Angeles is their destination and other times it is simply a layover.  Picking up our private tour guests up in the Port of Long Beach or in San Pedro means a lovely drive along the beautiful southern California coastline up to Marina del Rey.  The excellent photograph above was taken just north of San Pedro and captures the beautiful Pt. Fermin Lighthouse with Catalina Island in the background.  Further along the coast road we pass the Trump National Golf Club and the Terranea Resort before getting to the Pacific Coast Highway and the wonderful beach communities of Redondo, Hermosa and Manhattan.  It is a breathtaking drive and perfect for cruise ship passengers just getting their land legs back.  By the time we get to Hollywood and Beverly Hills everyone is ready for an adventure in movie history and a chance to see where the stars live and work.
