There Is More to a Private Tour Than Sightseeing
We include ADVENTURE in our company name for good reason. We love to make an ordinary sightseeing tour of Los Angeles something more exciting. Flying in a luxury helicopter, operating a Segway along the beach, a private meal cooked by a chef in a mountaintop estate…and skeet shooting are all part of our large repertoire of adventures. How about some target practice? Training is provided for beginners after we land our tour helicopter on the range and drive to the several traps around the course. Ah, there’s nothing like the smell of cordite in the morning. A skeet shooting adventure tour is just one of the many exciting excursions around Los Angeles that we are happy to arrange for our guests. Anything that we have not thought of already we are open to doing when that special visitor comes along with a great idea. Visit to the elephant seals rookery? Simulated free fall? Horseback riding in Malibu? If you are looking for a Los Angeles adventure we can make it happen for you.
Kids on a Private Tour of Los Angeles
If you want your children to experience the joys of fishing in a controlled, safe and dry environment, let’s head up over the Santa Monica Mountains on your Los Angeles tour and stop for lunch at Troutdale in Agoura. This is a fun luxury Los Angeles tour adventure for young ones. The regularly stocked pond is full of fresh farm raised trout and everything is provided for catching and cooking up a fine fish lunch. The environment is peaceful and perfect for picnics. After lunch we can explore the elegant celebrity homes in and around Calabasas while we are up here and drive past the Peter Strauss Ranch Park and the Paramount Ranch as well as the Motion Picture and Television Country Home and Hospital. Most of our private Los Angeles tour guests, even those who live near Los Angeles, are completely unaware of the existence of Lake Malibou in this same part of the mountains where you could do some real fishing.
A Sightseeing Tour Can Stop for a Swim at Malibu Rocky Oaks
Our favorite adventure tour of late is the sight-filled helicopter flight over to Malibu Rocky Oaks Estate for, at least, some private wine tasting (the estate is a vineyard, after all) and a tour of the exquisite Tuscan-style home. This fabulous party and film production location is also a setting for our very special adventure tours that we make happen for birthdays, anniversaries and other special occasions. We have provided private chefs to prepare candlelight meals at sunset, masseuses to get out the knots from an afternoon swim party, and we even brought in some special television stars for a private meet-and-greet at the estate for a very fortunate fan. Our exclusive access to the estate makes planning private Los Angeles tour events here a simple matter for us and opens up all kinds of possibilities for our imaginative guests. However, even the private wine tasting and tour is quite a treat at this magnificent abode overlooking the mountains above Malibu.
Los Angeles, California is one of the most exciting cities to tour in the United States. As a small-town farm girl who grew up just outside of Kansas City, Kansas, all I knew about life was cows, horses, pigs, sheep and tractors before I mad my very first venture to the west coast.
I traveled out to California one summer with my sister, Kelly, to visit our pen pal Sally in LA. Sally took us all around town on one of those Los Angeles sightseeing tours that tours the homes of celebrities and other famous landmarks around the city. We spent two full weeks with Sally, soaking up the sun and the city life before returning to our rural way of life. That was one amazing vacation!
About a month ago, I went down to Southern California to visit my extended family. When I was little my family lived in the area, so I saw everyone on a weekly, if not daily, basis. Since I moved away, however, our contact has been less and less frequent. In fact, it had been over five years since I had seen anyone who still lived there.
It was amazing to see how the younger members of my family had transformed in the years since I had seen them last. They planned to take me on an LA tour, which is a treat I never thought was possible ever since grandpa’s hip surgery – he’s had trouble walking by himself. But the second day after my arrival, I found myself touring Hollywood Boulevard with the whole family.
Soaring through the air without a plane, jetpack, or parachute is a reality when you go indoor skydiving. If the word skydiving is giving you pause, don’t worry; you won’t be jumping out of a plane or from any high distance. Essentially, you’ll be riding the wind created by a powerful vertical wind tunnel.
Unlike traditional skydiving, there are no restrictions on age or weight. In other words, indoor skydiving is an activity the whole family can enjoy. In fact, on our last vacation out west, I took my wife and kids indoor skydiving California style. They loved every minute of it, especially my wife who is afraid of heights and would never be able to experience traditional skydiving.
