Our Los Angeles Tour Guests Are Happy Campers in the L.A. Heat
While we have not been taking private Los Angeles tour folks here since 1937 if we had been sightseeing back then we surely would have dropped in for refreshing ice cream confections when the weather was this hot. Phewwww, good thing we are near the beach. But before we head to the shore it is time to enjoy the Original Farmers Market on Fairfax (“Meet Me at 3rd and Fairfax!”) for lunch in the international food court, a chance to pick up some fresh fruit from local farmers, and to top it all off ice cream and milkshakes at Gill’s Old Fashioned Ice Cream. We are early today because in a short while the Hollywood studio people at CBS Television City will be over here for lunch and snacks and by then the market will be full of happy and hungry locals and visitors. Our guides know the best places to look for seats, out of the sun, where our guests can best enjoy their meal.
The Original Farmers Market in Hollywood is where we love to meet our private Los Angeles tour guests driving into Hollywood and eager to begin a luxury sightseeing excursion with us. With plenty of easy (and valet) parking and lots of things to do, eat and buy after their tour, and with its central location that is simple enough to get to coming from any direction, the Farmers Market (as well as The Grove) makes a perfect starting point for our services. It is also a favorite destination for our tours that do not begin here. Operating since 1934, it is a terrific lunch stop and works well for many of our tours that begin in the morning and continue into the afternoon. The Farmers Market has food stalls representing about every kind of food you can think of and allows us to completely satisfy our guests with little fuss. Adjacent to Hollywood and Beverly Hills and half way between downtown and Venice Beach why don’t you plan a great custom tour of the area with us and we’ll meet you at 3rd and Fairfax!
The Original Farmers Market tower welcomes everyone to the famous 3rd and Fairfax entrance to this beloved location. Serving Los Angeles since 1934 through all the seasons and for all the holidays, everyone enjoys browsing the stalls for fresh produce and groceries as well as kitchen and household items and even Hollywood souvenirs before finding that perfect quick meal at one of the many fine eateries. We often meet up here with our southern California guests driving into Los Angeles for a private luxury tour of the major (and minor) sightseeing spots of Hollywood, Beverly Hills and all around. It is easy to find and offers lots of parking. Even better, it’s a fun place to hang out before and after our custom tour.
