Our Private Tour Guests Get a Gander at
New Arts Center in Beverly Hills
We used to always joke about the Beverly Hills Post Office as we drove by on a private Los Angeles tour that this was the only post office in the U.S. with valet parking. It was a fine beloved building on the north edge of the famous Golden Triangle. When the U.S.P.S. saw fit to discontinue their use of the building constructed in 1932 there was a fear that the structure would be lost. However, there is some amount of money for arts and culture in this tiny city and the building was repurposed for use as a performing arts center, the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts. The $70M center is taking subscriptions now and will soon announce its second season.
