Plenty to Do in Sunny Los Angeles
L.A. is the city that’s famous for a health-conscious lifestyle, fabulous weather, terrible traffic and celebrities galore. Whether you’re checking out the historic splendor of Grauman’s Chinese Theater or scanning the Hollywood Walk of Fame for the name of your favorite starlet, Hollywood is a hotbed of tourist attractions. Feel free to gawk at the film stars and high-powered studio execs as they pass, but try not to be too obvious about it.
Bear in mind that L.A. is about more than just Hollywood. What self-respecting fashionista could skip a trip to Rodeo Drive, that fabled stretch of retail space where high-priced decadence is the status quo. And of course Disneyland beckons from nearby Anaheim; it’s a popular destination for kids and parents alike. One thing is for certain: There’s never a shortage of things to do in Los Angeles.

Venice, this is achieved by first placing a scoop of dense vanilla bean gelato into a glass . The barista then pours a hot double shot of espresso over the gelato. The thick cream from the espresso melts the edges of the gelato, and well…….you get it. While you are at it, just go ahead and call it breakfast why don’t you!

Cat in a Cab
If you live in LA, the phrase, “Now I have seen it all” should never depart your lips. In fact I have embraced the fun things I encounter on a daily basis as the most enjoyable aspect of being a local!
Seriously, when will I ever see a cat lounging in the back of a cab again? While I enjoy being in a Los Angeles helicopter and flying around above traffic, there are certain sights that only can be see on the ground and in the right place at the right time. I would not make a good paparazzi!

Cupcakes: Beverly Hills Style!
There is a line that forms daily on Little Santa Monica Blvd. in Beverly Hills, CA. Sweet cakey goodness like no other is what makes Sprinkles so special. I always gravitate back toward the Red Velvet Cup Cake; but there is simply no way to go wrong.
Do not let the line outside the door intimidate you. There is very little standing room inside the front door and it creates the illusion that the line is longer than it is. I have never waited more than 20 minutes, which is worth every second if you have to. Enjoy them fresh! The perfect guilty pleasure before or after star tours Hollywood. Yesterday, I was doing what I like to call “Professional Ease Dropping” while on Rodeo drive. Generally speaking, women unlike most men like to share their experiences with the process of “consumer spending” where as men typically like to simply show off the toys they bought. I digress. Two ladies chatting at 2 Rodeo Drive were talking about Pre-owned Luxury HandBags. So there I was 5 feet away Googling it on my Blackberry. From the Vineyard to the Bar
Doing tours I have become spoiled with helicoptering into a a vineyard in Malibu for a wine tasting, but visting a great wine bar is a close second. Vertical Wine Bistro is in the heart of Old Town Pasadena, and should be added to your intinerary! This wine bar boasts over 400 wines from all over the globe. Their chef (the former chef of Opus Bar & Grill and Aubergine) has created a nice petite plates menu. This includes pan-seared Whitefish and ‘Date Poppers’ (Serrano ham, Gorgonzola and pickled Jalapenos). Up to 100 wines are available by the glass.
Outside of LA in neighboring Santa Barbara County, I have have conducted many California Wine Tours for VIP clients in addition to private tastings in LA combined with yacht and/or helicopter adventures.
